Lisbon has a unique kind of light — but when that light shines on a love story, everything becomes even more magical. That’s exactly what happened during this couple photo session in Lisbon, which took us through the Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Portas do Sol, and the National Pantheon.

Andreia and Lourenço started their relationship right at the Santa Luzia viewpoint, so it was the perfect place to begin. It’s not just beautiful — it holds deep meaning for them. And from the very first shot, it was clear: the looks, the smiles, the memories came rushing back.

Where It All Began: Santa Luzia Viewpoint

The morning light hit the iconic blue and white tiles just right, and the Tagus River sparkled in the background. Andreia and Lourenço felt relaxed and at home, and I barely had to direct them — they were simply there, in their moment. That made all the difference.

Portas do Sol and the Streets of Alfama

Next, we walked to Portas do Sol, where Lisbon unfolds at your feet. Trams passed by, red rooftops stretched out into the distance, and tourists wandered in awe — it all added to a spontaneous, vibrant vibe. We explored the narrow streets and stairways of Alfama, one of the most picturesque neighborhoods for romantic photoshoots in Lisbon.

These hidden alleys are perfect for capturing natural, emotional photos — each corner has its own personality.

The Elegance of the National Pantheon

We wrapped up the session near the National Pantheon — an impressive and timeless building that somehow still allows for intimate moments. The mix of architectural grandeur and soft gestures between the couple gave us stunning, emotional images.

More Than a Photo Session — A Love Story

This wasn’t just another couple session in Lisbon. It was a journey back to where everything began for them. And that’s what I love about couple photography: capturing not just faces, but real moments and shared memories.
